The Adibashi Student Forum organized a peaceful protest rally to address the removal of the “Adibashi” identity from a symbolic graffiti featured in the Class IX and X school textbooks. This graffiti originally represented unity among Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, and Adibashi communities. However, on 12 January 2025, the “Adibashi” identity was omitted from this representation, leading to widespread discontent among the Adibashi community. The rally aimed to demand reinstatement of their identity in the textbooks and raise awareness about the ongoing erasure of Adibashi voices in national discourse.

On 15th Junary 2025, at approximately 1 PM, the protest rally began near the Metro Station in Motijheel. Participants peacefully voiced their concerns and displayed banners advocating for inclusivity and recognition of Adibashi identity. However, the rally faced an unexpected and violent intervention.
